How to Set Up Your ZONFLON Cloud Sherpa Dog Crate Bed
Make everyday rest comfortable with your ZONFLON sherpa dog crate bed. Follow this guide to fit the cover, help the foam settle and care for your dog’s favourite spot.

How to set up your dog crate bed
Unpack your dog’s new bed
Open the packaging carefully and remove the vacuum bag, keeping sharp tools away from the bed. Lay the foam flat with its textured side facing up.
Close the protective liner
The liner is already fitted around the foam and arrives partly unzipped for compact packaging. Gently close the zipper all the way so the foam is fully enclosed and protected.
Slip on the cover
Place the lined foam inside the outer cover, align the corners and smooth the fabric before closing the zipper. Keep the textured foam side facing up. If the cover feels a little loose at first, that’s expected—the foam still needs time to fill it out.
Let the foam settle into shape
Leave the assembled bed flat in a well-ventilated spot for 24–48 hours. As the foam expands, the cover will sit more neatly around it. Thank you for giving your dog’s new bed a little time to get comfortable.
A slight fresh-foam scent may be noticeable after unpacking. A few days in a well-ventilated spot will help it fade.
Create a cosy resting spot
Place the bed flat inside a well-fitting crate or on a stable indoor floor. Keep the soft sherpa surface facing up and smooth the cover so your dog can settle in comfortably.
Cleaning and care
- Remove the outer cover before washing and follow the care label for washing and drying instructions.
- Follow the liner’s care instructions when cleaning it.
- Spot clean the foam gently as needed; keep it out of the washing machine and avoid soaking it.
- Let every part dry completely before closing the liner and putting the cover back on.
Common questions
Why is the cover a little loose?
The foam is compressed for shipping and needs 24–48 hours to expand. Keep the liner zipped and the cover fitted while the bed rests flat. The cover will fit more neatly as the foam reaches its full shape.
Which side faces up?
Keep the textured foam side facing up inside the liner, with the soft sherpa sleeping surface on top.
What if the foam still looks uneven?
Allow a full 24–48 hours after unpacking. If you need help after that, contact us with your order number and a short description.
Can I use it outside a crate?
Yes. It also makes a comfortable resting spot on an indoor floor. Lay it flat on a stable surface where your dog likes to relax.
How do I keep the bed fresh?
Remove the cover for cleaning and follow its care label. Clean the liner according to its care instructions, spot clean the foam separately, and let everything dry before reassembling.
Enjoy everyday comfort
Check the bed during regular cleaning. If your dog likes to chew bedding, supervise their use and remove damaged pieces before they can be swallowed. Keep the bed away from fire.
