How to Set Up Extra Wide Dog Stairs | ZONFLON
Follow the video and steps below to get your ZONFLON product ready for use.
Set up your extra wide dog stairs
Open the package carefully
Remove the vacuum-packed foam and fabric cover. Keep scissors and other sharp tools away from the product.
Install the cover
Place the widest section of the cover over the base, align each step and pull the fabric evenly around the foam before closing the zipper.
Wait for full rebound
Leave the stairs flat at room temperature for 24–48 hours. Vacuum-compression marks should gradually smooth out.
Check the placement
Set the stairs on a clean, dry indoor floor. Keep the full base in contact with the floor and position the top step directly against the furniture.
Introduce your pet gradually
Guide your dog with treats and praise until they are comfortable stepping up and down calmly.

- Use the size and weight guidance in your instruction manual or original product listing.
- Use indoors and supervise your pet during initial use.
- Match the stairs to stable furniture of an appropriate height.
- Keep the base and floor clean and dry.
- Replace the product if the foam or cover becomes materially damaged.
Cleaning and care
- Unzip and remove the fabric cover before washing.
- Machine wash the cover gently with mild detergent.
- Do not wash or soak the foam core.
- Dry the cover fully before fitting it again.

Allow 24–48 hours after unpacking for the high-density foam to regain its intended shape.
How do I confirm the correct furniture height?
Check your instruction manual or original product listing for the model dimensions, then compare the total stair height with your furniture.
